Converting an Online Video to a Storable File

Why would I want to do this? I can think of at least two reasons (there may be more!):

  1. Internet connections go down at the most inconvenient times -- when dealing with a high-stakes presentation, it's always good to have a backup plan.
  2. There's nothing more annoying than finding that the perfect video has been taken down from the web! This happened to me on the first day of class, when I wanted to show a movie clip.

 

There are any number of Web2.0 video converter sites out there; I am going to show you movavi just as an example:
