Why would I want to do this? I can think of at least two reasons (there may be more!):
- Internet connections go down at the most inconvenient times -- when dealing with a high-stakes presentation, it's always good to have a backup plan.
- There's nothing more annoying than finding that the perfect video has been taken down from the web! This happened to me on the first day of class, when I wanted to show a movie clip.
